TolnAgro Állatgyógyászati Ltd. was established in Szekszárd in 1996 by the merger of two successful distributors of veterinary medicinal products in the South-Transdanubium region: Tolnavet Ltd. (1993) and Agrovet Ltd. (1990). The aim of the merger was to create a company that offers higher quality services to its customers. Turnover, warehouse capacity, logistics and the number of employees increased with the development of the company, which is by now the leading wholesaler in the Hungarian market of veterinary medicinal products.
Today we serve customers from all Hungarian regions. Net turnover in 2007 was 6 billion Forints, placing the company far ahead of its competitors. TolnAgro has retained its position as the leader of the veterinary pharmaceutical wholesale market for three years.
In the year 2008 our stock exceeds 1 billion Forints, which guarantees our clients constant, reliable supply throughout the week, all year round.
Someone to Depend On
The official residence of the company is in Szekszárd, one of the best locations in the South-Transdanubium region. This assures quick and easy delivery to any destination in Hungary from our center.
Total warehouse capacity stands at 1400 m2, with 40 m2 (2 to 8°C) and 261 m2 (8 to 15°C) of cool storage area, which enables the distribution of cold-chain products such as vaccines, diagnostics, vitamins, etc. Our warehouse provides 3-pallet rack storage and a full range of handling equipment. Our employees assemble about 200 to 250 packages and 15 pallets of goods every day for our clients.
Orders are fulfilled within 24 hours, transported by 9 trucks completing 25 delivery rounds every week, by post or by couriers. In urgent cases our contractual partners have resort to emergency shipment within 8 hours; the service is available on weekends as well.
Our newest development is the construction of a 2000 m2 warehouse, a partly two-storey building with a commissioning area and 300 square meters of expediting area beside 800 square meters of pallet storaging capacity.

The total number of employees is 103; 28 of them having a university degree (7 veterinarians, 3 pharmacists, 5 agricultural engineers, 8 economists and 5 other professionals).
Our company focuses on regular personal communication and informing our present and future clients. We all appreciate the help of a “good friend” when experiencing difficulties: TolnAgro dedicates 20 employees to costumer care.
8 regularly trained representatives work throughout the country to provide you with the latest information. Our 13 employees visit the partners regularly to provide them with the latest information or assist them in solving their everyday problems. Additionally, 3 veterinarians are also dedicated to answering our clients’ questions. We are striving to find the best solution for everyone!
Orders are accepted by 8 customer service employees. All partners have a dedicated contact person, who is available directly by phone. The client may also ask for a call at a specific time point to place the orders.
